Sugar Land Bathroom Remodel
This Sugar Land homeowner wanted to transform their primary bathroom with a fresh, updated design. During the demolition phase, our team discovered a water leak behind the bathtub that had caused mold damage within the wall. All affected framing was removed and replaced, the area was professionally treated, and new insulation was installed to ensure a sound foundation for the remodel.
The existing bathtub was removed and replaced with a spacious walk-in shower featuring a custom-built soap niche. The shower walls are finished with elegant 12" x 24" porcelain tile, while contrasting mosaic tile was selected for the shower floor and niche to add visual interest and texture.
An additional challenge arose when we discovered the wall adjacent to the shower was significantly out of square. To achieve a clean, professional finish, the wall was floated to create a true, even surface before being retextured and painted.
The completed bathroom features dual undermount sinks with updated faucet fixtures, a quartz countertop with matching backsplash, and a new shower system that includes a handheld sprayer, an ADA-compliant grab bar, and a frameless sliding glass shower door.
To enhance both functionality and aesthetics, custom cabinetry was built at today's standard vanity height to replace the original lower cabinets. All cabinetry and trim were professionally painted, and metal tile trim was incorporated to create crisp, finished edges around the shower, soap niche, and shower curb, providing a refined, contemporary appearance.
